These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of PortaFact, a cloud invoicing and billing software service available at app.portafact.com and related domains (the "Service"), operated by PortaFact ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
PortaFact provides tools for freelancers and small agencies to manage clients, quotes, invoices, recurring billing, client portals, and related business documents. Features may vary by subscription plan (Solo or Agency). We may update, improve, or discontinue features with reasonable notice when possible.
You must provide accurate registration information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old and have authority to bind your business if you register on its behalf.
PortaFact SaaS subscriptions are sold on a recurring basis (monthly or yearly). Prices are shown on our pricing page (Solo and Agency plans). Payments for PortaFact subscriptions are processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd and its affiliates ("Paddle"), who act as Merchant of Record. Paddle handles checkout, tax where applicable, and payment collection. Your purchase is also subject to Paddle's checkout terms.
New subscriptions may include a 14-day free trial as shown at checkout. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription converts to a paid plan and you will be charged according to the plan and interval you selected. You can cancel anytime from your account settings or via the Paddle customer portal.
You agree not to misuse the Service, including: violating laws, sending unlawful or fraudulent invoices, attempting unauthorized access, interfering with the platform, or reselling the Service without permission. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose a security or legal risk.
You retain ownership of data you upload (clients, invoices, logos, etc.). You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display your content solely to provide the Service. You are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of invoices and documents you issue to your clients.
The Service is provided "as is" to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the fees you paid to us in the twelve (12) months before the claim.
You may stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time. We may terminate or suspend access if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends. We may retain or delete your data according to our Privacy Policy and applicable law.
